ORDER
Petitioner is the accused in crime No.100/2021 of Hill Palace Police Station, Ernakulam, which is registered for the offences punishable under Section 75 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Sections 323 and 509 of IPC.

It is alleged that the petitioner, who is the father of the defacto complainant, a girl aged 16 years, while staying together at Kent Hyde Park Villa No.3, Thripunithura manhandled the defacto complainant with his hand and abused her using filthy language with an intention of insulting the modesty of the defacto complainant and thereby petitioner committed the offence aforementioned.

When the case came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that no serious injury has been sustained to the defacto complainant, though he admitted the fact that he just beaten his daughter. It is also his contention that the relationship between himself and the mother of the victim has been strained and they have already filed petition for mutual divorce before the Family Court, Ernakulam.
