JUDGMENT
The Writ Petition (Crl.) is filed seeking the following reliefs:
“(i) Issue of writ of mandamus or other writ, order or direction, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to take over investigation of Exhibit.P8 FIR clubbed together along with Exhibit.P1 and conduct investigation in accordance with law.;
(ii) Issue of writ of mandamus or other writ, order or direction, compelling respondents 3 and 4 to take over investigation of Exhibit.P8 FIR and to conduct the investigation simultaneously with Exhibit.P1 FIR in accordance with law;
(iii) dispense with the filing of the translation of vernacular documents produced along with the above Writ Petition.
(iv) issue such other writ, order or direction as may be just and proper in the interest of justice.”[SIC]
2. The main prayer in this Writ petition is to issue a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to take over investigation of Ext.P8 FIR clubbed together along with Ext.P1 and conduct investigation in accordance with law. The accused in Ext.P1 Crime Madha Jayakumar, who was the Manager of Bank of Maharashtra, Vatakara Branch during the period 13-06-2024 to 06-07-2024, committed theft of 26244.20 gms. of gold ornaments worth Rs.17,20,35,717/-
