J U D G M E N T

(Dated this the 29th day of January, 2025)

This writ petition is preferred seeking the following prayers.

a) issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order directing the 1st respondent to take advance possession of the fifth floor of HOUSEFED Complex, Eranhipalam, Kozhikode for the establishment of an Additional District & Sessions Court therein for the trial of cases relating to atrocities against women and children.

b) Declare that the move of the Government for accommodating the ofÏces of the Co- operative Department in Kozhikode District on the fifth floor of the HOUSEFED Complex belonging to the 5th respondent, totally ignoring the various representations in this regard, including Ext.P1, is totally unjustifiable and unwarranted.

And c) Grant such other or further relief as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the particular facts and circumstances of the case.

Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that, matter became infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
