Alleging lapse and callous inaction on the part of the police in giving adequate protection to the life and property of the petitioner, she is before this Court pointing out the alleged atrocious action on the part of the respondents 6 and 7, who are close relatives. According to the petitioner, 6th respondent is sister-in-law of the petitioner and 7th respondent is her son. It is the case of the petitioner that the property comprised in Sy.No.801 and 802A of Vakkom Village was purchased by the petitioner in the year 2001 as borne by Ext.P1 sale deed. Since respondents 6 and 7 were close relatives, they were permitted to reside in the building situated in the said property, more so when the property was purchased from the brother, who is no more. In the course of time, the petitioner wanted to effect re-
construction of the building and requested the respondents 6 and 7 to vacate the premises, which was not acceded to.
