ORDER

The petitioner is the sole accused in S.C.No.728 of 2012 on the file of the Court of Session, Thrissur arising from Crime No.667 of 2012 of Chavakkad Police Station. The petitioner is accused of commission of offences punishable under Sections 341, 323 and 294(b) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 23 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act , 2000 (for short `the Act'). The gist of the allegation against the petitioner is that on 1.7.2012 pursuant to a scuffle between his son and the son of the second respondent/defacto complainant he went to the house of the defacto complainant and abused and slapped his son. The petitioner and the second respondent are neighbours. At the instance of the second respondent Annexure-A F.I.R. was registered alleging commission of the aforesaid offences against the petitioner. Annexure-B is the final report laid therein before the Court of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Chavakkad.
