JUDGMENT
Dated this the 18th day of June, 2025 The writ petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider Ext.P2 application (Form 6) submitted under Section 27A read with Rule 12(1) of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act and Rules, 2008 ('Act and Rules' in short).
2. The petitioner and his elder brother are the owners in possession of 19 Ares and 43.3 Sq.Meters of land comprised in Survey No.8/13 in Pantheerankavu Village, Kozhikode Taluk, Kozhikode District, covered by Ext.P1 basic tax receipt. The petitioner’s property is an unnotified land. However, the respondents have erroneously classified the petitioner’s property as ‘paddy land’ and included it in the revenue record. To change the nature of the property, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application before the 1st respondent on 26.09.2023. But, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the writ petition.
