Dated this the 23 rd day of June, 2025 O R D E R This revision petition is filed against the conviction and sentence imposed on the revision petitioner as per the judgment dated 5.6.2020 in CC No.2659 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-VII, Thiruvananthapuram and also the judgment dated 13.9.2021 in Crl.Appeal No.90 of 2020 of the Additional Sessions Judge -II, Thiruvananthapuram.
2. The case of the first respondent is that out of the personal acquaintance between the complainant and the accused, the accused borrowed an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- from the complainant and in discharge of the said liability, the accused issued a cheque bearing No.882108 dated 8.2.2020 drawn at State Bank of Travancore, Main branch, Thiruvananthapuram in favour of the complainant from the account maintained by the accused.
