ORDER
Dated this the 14th day of July, 2025 Petitioner is the 1st accused in Crime No.716 of
2024 registered at the Kodungallur Police Station for offences punishable under Sections 406 , 420 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code , now pending as C.C.No.826 of 2024 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Kodungallur. The petitioner’s application for bail was allowed as per Annexure 1 order, subject to conditions. In accordance with condition no.(v) in the order, the petitioner surrendered his passport and later, moved the jurisdictional Magistrate, seeking release of the passport. Petitioner’s request was rejected by the Magistrate as per Annexure 3 order, on the premise that he had surrendered the passport as per the direction in Annexure 1 order of this Court. At the same time, the Magistrate allowed the same prayer made by accused nos.2 and 3, subject to certain conditions.
