JUDGMENT
This original petition is filed with following prayers:
i. Permit the petitioner to pay the arrears of interim maintenance awarded as per Exhibit P4 order in reasonable monthly installments;
ii. Issue such other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case. (SIC)
2. The impugned order in this case is Ext.P3, which is an order passed by the Family Court, Palakkad granting interim maintenance in favour of the respondent at the rate of Rs.6,000/- per month. After arguing for some time, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is huge arrears of maintenance and the amount now come to about Rs.72,000/-. It is submitted that he may be given a breathing time to deposit the same and he will continue to pay Rs.6,000/- as ordered by the court. I think that prayer can be allowed.
Therefore, this original petition is disposed of with following directions:
1. The petitioner will deposit the entire arrears as on today within four months from today.
