This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail.

2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.457/2025 of Thoppumpady Police Station, Ernakulam. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 318(4), and 336(2) r/w Section 3(5) of BNS.

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that accused No. 1 to 8 in order to deceive the defacto complainant and to deprive him of his property had created false rent deeds to the effect that the defacto complainant had leased the building bearing Nos.16/651, 16/652 in favour of the accused No.1. It is further alleged that the accused has created false mortgage deeds in respect of the property belonging to the father of the defacto complainant as per document Nos.3795/2011, 2753/2013 and 4496/2011 of Peerumedu Sub Registrar Office. It is also alleged that the accused forged the signature of the defacto complainant and his father and created a document showing that property situated in Survey No. 724 of Vagaman Village measuring 1 hectare and 33 square meters and the building bearing No. 16/651 of Elappara Grama Panchayat was given to him for occupation and by forging
