ORDER
Dated this the 07th day of July, 2025 Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1097 of 2025 registered at the Pathanamthitta Police Station for the offence punishable under Section 318 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023. The crime is registered on the basis of a complaint filed by the 2nd respondent alleging that, she and 15 other students were lured to join a vocational training course conducted by the petitioner’s Institute, by making them believe that the institute had recognition from the Kerala University and Glocal University in Uttar Pradesh. It is further alleged that on realising that the institute did not have the required recognition, the students decided to opt out, but the money collected from them was not returned.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner referred to Annexures A7 and A12 to point out that the vocational training course was conducted by the petitioner on the strength of a Memorandum of Understanding entered with the Glocal University.
