J U D G M E N T
Petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs:
I. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the respondent bank to forthwith defreeze the bank account of the petitioner maintained with Federal Bank Ltd, Kuttiady Branch, having Bank account No: 99980109729660 and to act in accordance with the law.
II. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, commanding the respondent bank to remove the lien upon the amounts in the bank account of the petitioner maintained with Federal Bank Ltd, Kuttiady Branch, having Bank account No: 99980109729660 and to act in accordance with the law.
2. Standing Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the lien marked / freeze amount has already been transferred as per the direction of the competent Criminal Court.
3. If the disputed / debit freeze amount is transferred back pursuant to the direction of the Criminal Court, there is no reason for the Bank to continue the debit freeze in respect of the
