The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to sanction and disburse the salary and other benefits due to the petitioner for the post of Part-Time Hindi Teacher from 01.11.2008 to 19.07.2015, and further, to direct the respondent to confer all benefits, including monetary benefits, of a Full-Time Hindi Teacher on the petitioner with effect from 01.06.2012.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was initially appointed as a Part-Time Hindi Teacher in the 3rd respondent school in a leave vacancy from 01.06.2005 to 30.03.2006. Later, he was appointed in a regular vacancy for the same post in the said school with effect from 01.06.2007. According to the petitioner, the total number of Hindi periods available during the academic years 2007–2008 to 2019–2020 are eight per week, considering standards 5, 6, and 7.
