ORDER
This bail application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘ BNSS ’).
2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.747/2025 of Tanur Police Station, Malappuram; registered for the offences punishable under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 [for short, BNS ], and subsequently, the provision was altered to Section 108 of .
3. The prosecution case is that, the victim, who is a transgender woman, committed suicide on 09.07.2025 by hanging in the car porch of the house of the accused, who had abetted the commission of suicide and thereby committed the offences alleged. Petitioner was arrested on
19.07.2025 and he has been in custody since then.
4. Sri.Sayed Mansoor Bafakhy Thangal, the learned Counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the prosecution allegations are false and that he has no involvement in the alleged crime. It was also pointed out that the petitioner has been in custody from 19.07.2025, and therefore, further custody is not necessary.
