CON.CASE(C) NO. 229 OF 2025 | WP(C) NO.24188 OF 2024
For the Appellants/Petitioners: SMT.FARHANA K.H., SHRI.MUHASIN K.M.
For the Respondents: SR.GP SMT. PREETHA K.K.
Court determines closure of contempt case due to non-receipt of necessary information impacting compliance with prior judgment.
Headnote:The judgment addresses the alleged non-compliance with court directions as set out in the Annexure-A1 judgment, where the absence of satellite pictures from the KSREC has hindered progress on the Form 5 application. The Court determines closure of the contempt case while preserving the petitioner's right to seek further directives to expedite the submission of the report. The primary issues involved the non-compliance of the directions by the first respondent. The Court reasoned that compliance is contingent upon receipt of required satellite images, illustrating the procedural dependencies outlined in judgment. The outcome indicates closure of the contempt case, allowing for future petitioner's actions regarding necessary compliance.

Dated this the 6th day of August, 2025 JUDGMENT The contempt case is filed alleging non-
compliance of the directions in Annexure-A1 judgment.
2. The learned Government Pleader submits that the directions in Annexure-A1 judgment have not been complied by the 1st respondent because the satellite pictures from the Kerala State Remote Sensing and Environmental Centre (KSREC) has not been received till date. It is only after the receipt of the satellite pictures, can a decision be taken in the Form 5 application.
In the light of the above submission, I close the Contempt Case, but without prejudice to the right of the petitioner to seek for a direction to the KSREC to submit the report expeditiously.
