ORDER
This bail application is filed under section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘ BNSS ’).
2. Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.446 of 2025 of Vagamon Police Station, Idukki, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 354 , 354A(1)(i), 509, 294(b) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 [for short, ‘ IPC ’] and Section 120 (o) of the Kerala Police Act, 2011 . The learned Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, submitted that Section 354 A(1)(i) of has been deleted during the course of investigation.
3. According to the prosecution, the accused is alleged to have attempted to sexually molest the de facto complainant, who is his wife’s sister and also abused her over phone and threatened to kill her and thereby committed the offences alleged.
