JUDGMENT

Dated this the 15th day of September, 2025 The petitioner belongs to the Scheduled Tribe Community.

The petitioner is pursuing his Ph.D. program under Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. The Government of Kerala has formulated an e-grantz fellowship scheme providing educational assistance to all students of SC/ST, Other Backward Classes as well as Economically Weaker Sections in Kerala.

2. In terms of the above Scheme, educational assistance is being provided. The petitioner has repeatedly approached the authorities for disbursing the grant amount. However, nothing has been done so far. Now, the grant amount for a period of eight months that is from January, 2025 to August, 2025 is pending. As the petitioner is hailing from a poor family, he needs the financial assistance to continue his program. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
