ORDER
This bail application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short ‘ BNSS ’).
2. Petitioner is the second accused in O.R.No.17/2025 of Karikulam Forest Station, Pathanamthitta, registered alleging offences punishable under Sections 2(16), 9, 39(1),(2),(3), 42, 43, 50, 51, 52 and 57 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act , 1972 [for short, ‘the Act’]; alleging illegal possession and trading of two Red Sand Boa, which is included in Schedule No.1 of the above Act.
3. I have heard Sri.P.T.Sheejish, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Smt.Sreeja V., the learned Public Prosecutor.
4. Petitioner is alleged to have supplied Red Sand Boa to the first accused.
Though the allegations are serious, it is pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the entire allegations raised by the first accused are false as the petitioner had filed a complaint against him, which is pending as Crime No.1541/2025 of Angamaly Police Station, Ernakulam; wherein the allegation pertains to kidnapping.
