JUDGMENT

The petitioner seeks approval of the appointment to the post of HSST Junior made by direct appointment instead of by transfer appointment. Initially the petitioner was thrown out due to division fall. She was later appointed as HSST Junior in the newly sanctioned post. The approval of the appointment was rejected stating that the appointment could have been made only if the petitioner was already working in a permanent post. It is thereafter that the Manager appointed the petitioner by direct appointment. The approval of the above said appointment has not been considered for the reason that by transfer appointment post cannot be converted to a direct appointment.

2. By an interim order, this Court had directed the payment of salary in the scale of lower post. The counsel for the petitioner seeks consideration of the proposal by the 3rd respondent.

3. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the proposal submitted by the 4th respondent on 03.09.2024 for approval of appointment to the petitioner as HSST Junior Malayalam and pass orders after hearing the petitioner and the 4th respondent, at the earliest, at any rate within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
