JUDGMENT

The petitioner singularly seeks that Ext.P10 representation, preferred by him before the 1^st respondent – Government, be directed to be taken up and disposed of, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Sri.P.M.Pareeth – learned counsel for the petitioner, explained that his client has asked for relaxation in upper age limit through Ext.P10, but that since no decision has been taken thereon, he has been put to irreparable prejudice.

3. Smt.Parvathy K. - learned Government Pleader, submitted that there is no legal impediment in Ext.P10 being taken up and disposed of by the 1^st respondent; but prayed that this Court may not make any affirmative declarations on his entitlement to any relief and leave it to be decided by the competent Authority, in terms of law.

In the afore circumstances, I allow this writ petition and direct the competent Authority of the 1^st respondent to take up Ext.P10 representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner, as also to the College; thus culminating in an appropriate order and necessary action thereon, as expeditiously as is possible, but not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
