JUDGMENT
Petitioner is a holder of driving license bearing No.41/2487/2001 issued by the licensing authority Aluva. The driving licence of the petitioner was revoked by the 3rd respondent on the ground that the petitioner was involved in Crime No.225/2009 registered against the petitioner for the offence under Section 304 IPC . The appeal preferred against the revocation of licence was dismissed by the 2nd respondent as per Ext.P4 order. According to the petitioner, petitioner is severely aggrieved since he is a professional driver and consequent to the revocation of the licence, petitioner is unable to carry on his profession and earn his livelihood. It is in this background, seeking appropriate direction, this writ petition is filed. Petitioner also challenges Exts.P4 and P5 orders passed by the primary authority as well as the appellate authority. 2. In my considered opinion, the challenge against Ext.P4, appellate order in the year 2017 can only be said to be a belated one since the order was passed on 13.8.2013.
