The petitioner is the 14th accused in C.C.No.157/2010 on the file of the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam, which has been taken on file on a private complaint filed by the 1st respondent alleging commission of offence under section 500 of the Indian Penal Code .
2. The prosecution case, in brief, is that, various Malayalam dailiés, including T.V Channels have reported the disclosure made by accused No. 1 to 5, who are agents/sub agents or executives of the 1st respondent (de facto complainant) and Hindustan Power Ltd., a proprietorship concern of the de facto complainant, in the press conference convened by them as well as through the press release issued by them about certain fraudulent acts committed by the 1st respondent against them and other employees in the matter of non payment of commission, salary, etc., and against public by marketing inferi
