This petition is filed by the petitioner for issuing direction to the District Consumer Redressal Commission, Wayand to hear and pass orders on Ext.P8 Review petition.
2. Heard the argument of the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, call for a report from the Consumer court and issue notice to the respondent is dispensed with.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a financier, financed the respondent for purchasing the vehicle. Subsequent by the respondent defaulted in payment of the loan, and the loan was recalled, and the vehicle was seized by the petitioner. The respondent filed a complaint against the petitioner before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Wayanad, in C.C. No. 251/2025. An interim order has been passed by the Consumer Court for depositing only the defaulted amount and directing the petitioner to release the vehicle. The petitioner once again filed a petition under Section 47(b) of India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for reviewing the said order on 03.10.2025, but the Consumer Court has not passed any order and has not taken the Review petition for disposal.
