This appeal is filed by the respondents in W.P.(C)No.28695 of 2018, challenging the judgment dated 22.11.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge whereby, the writ petition was allowed in part by reducing the punishment imposed, in a disciplinary proceeding against the writ petitioner
2. The facts in brief as are necessary for the disposal of this appeal are as follows;
The respondent herein/writ petitioner entered into the service of the 1st respondent as a clerk on 11.10.1976. Later, he was promoted as Manager, and while working in the Nilambur Branch, was suspended in 2008, alleging commission of financial irregularities. The appointing authority imposed a penalty of dismissal from service with immediate effect by Ext.P3 order dated 13.08.2010.
