JUDGMENT
P.Krishna Kumar, J.
The husband challenges the order passed by the Family Court, Thrissur, directing him to pay a sum of ₹15,00,000/- to the respondents towards the marriage expenses of the second respondent, his daughter.
2. For the sake of convenience, the parties shall hereinafter be referred to as they were arrayed in the original petition. In O.P. No.1041 of 2014 filed by the wife and daughter before the Family Court, Thrissur, the petitioners alleged that the respondent had agreed to meet the entire marriage expenses of the second petitioner but later resiled from his commitment, thus the first petitioner, the mother, was compelled to conduct the marriage with the help of her son and relatives. It was further alleged that she borrowed ₹20,00,000/- from her relatives as a loan and met all necessary expenses. The Nikkah was conducted on 13.05.2013 and the marriage on 26.04.2014.
