This report filed by the Special Commissioner pertains to the change of Police Controller at Sannidhanam during the Mandala–Makaravilakku festival season 2025–26.
2. On a perusal of the report, we find that the officer who has now been replaced by Sri. Krishnakumar R. had been serving as the Police Controller at Sannidhanam for a continuous period extending over two decades. We are of the view that the continued posting of the same officer in such a position of responsibility for such a prolonged duration can result in institutional entrenchment, adversely affecting transparency, efficiency, and the impartial administration of the affairs.
3. Be that as it may, since the said officer has now been replaced by Sri. Krishnakumar R., APSI, KAP-1, this Court deems it appropriate that the credentials, service record, and suitability of the newly appointed officer be duly
