B.A No.13560 of 2025 --------------------------------------- Dated this the 18th day of November, 2025 O R D E R This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
2. The petitioner is accused No.1 in Crime No.968/2025 of Peerumade Police Station. The offences alleged against the petitioner and the other accused are punishable under Sections 3(1), 25(1-B)(a) of the Arms Act, 1959 .
3. The prosecution case is as follows :-
On 10/10/2025 at 06:30 p.m., the petitioner along with other accused were found residing in room No.209 of the KTDC, Tamarint Building, Peermade, possessing three bullet cartridges without any valid lincense or authorisation.
4. The petitioner was arrested on 11/10/2025 and he has been in judicial custody since then.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Public Prosecutor.
6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the investigation is in the final stage and the further detention of the petitioner is not required.
