JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers.
“i) issue a writ of mandamus or other writ order or direction directing the respondents to issue a fresh passport to petitioner.
ii) dispense with the filing of the translation of vernacular documents and iii) issue such other writ, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts of the case so as to secure the ends of justice.”
2. The learned CGC appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner had returned home based on an emergency certificate, and if he makes an application for a fresh passport, the same will be considered in accordance with law. This is recorded.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, making it clear that it will be open to the petitioner to make an application for a fresh passport, which shall be considered by the respondent in accordance with law.
