JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
“(a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 2nd respondent to forthwith consider in accordance with law, petitioner’s Exhibit P5 application filed in Form-5 under the provisions of the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wet Land Act 2008 and remove the petitioners property having an extent of an extent of 4.38 ares of land in Sy No 260/2-2-2 and 260/2-3 of Chengamanad Village in Aluva Taluk and grant permission for change of nature of land in the revenue records as Dry land/ Purayidom, within such time limit as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to fix in the facts and circumstances of the case; and (b) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the 3rd and 4th respondents to make necessary changes/additions in the revenue records including BTR to change of nature of land as Dry land/ Purayidom.
(c) To dispense with the English Translation of vernacular documents.
(d) Grant such other and further reliefs as are deemed just and necessary in the facts and circumstances of the case including the costs”

2. When this Writ Petition came up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to consider Ext. P5 Form–5 application within a time frame.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
4. After hearing both sides, I think there can be a direction to consider Ext.P5 application within a time frame.
Therefore, this Writ Petition(C) is disposed of in the following manner:
1. The Addl. 5th respondent is directed to submit the necessary report based on Ext. P5 Form-5 application to the 1st respondent / Authorised Officer, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
2. The 1st respondent / Authorised O directed to consider Ext. P5 Form-5 application (if it is pending and if it is in order) based on the report received from the Addl. 5th respondent, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the report.
3. The petitioner will produce a certified copy of this judgment, along with a copy of this Writ Petition with exhibits, before the 1st and Addl.
5th respondents for compliance.
