J U D G M E N T
The petitioner was arrayed as accused in C.C.No.8 of 2012 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-V (Special Court for Mark List Cases), Thiruvananthapuram and in C.C.No.1363 of 2011 on the files of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-II, Thiruvananthapuram. He was tried and acquitted in both cases. According to the petitioner, he was falsely implicated in those cases and he had to undergo physical and mental torture due to the false implication. He filed Ext.P6 representation before the Director General of Police, highlighting his grievance and seeking compensation. The grievance of the petitioner is that no action has been taken on Ext.P6 for the last nine years.
Having heard Sri.Biju .C. Abraham, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri.Sangeetha Raj.N.R., the learned Public Prosecutor, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the
1st respondent to consider and take appropriate decision in Ext.P6 representation in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
