J U D G M E N T

The petitioner is a Society registered under the Travancore-

Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955 represented by its Secretary. The Aluva West Police Station registered a crime as Crime No.162 of 2016 on 28.02.2016 against the office bearers of the Society. Later on, the crime was handed over to the Crime Branch and renumbered as Crime No.116 of 2017. During the course of the investigation, Exts.P15, P17 and P19 notices were issued by the investigating officer to the Branch Manager, Kerala Gramin Bank, Aluva; Branch Manager, Union Bank of India, Karumalloor Branch and Branch Manager, Federal Bank, Thottakkattukara Branch respectively, directing the Branch Mangers of the above Banks to furnish the account details of the Society maintained with those Banks. The petitioner has approached this Court to quash Exts.P15, P17 and P19 notices.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation of the crime is over and the final report was filed before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court- II, Aluva. The learned Magistrate took the cognizance of the offence as C.C.No.407 of 2020.
