O R D E R
This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023.
2. The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.944/2025 of Nilambur Police Station, Malappuram. The offence alleged against the petitioner is punishable under Section 20 (b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985.
3. The prosecution case is that, on 11.10.2025, the petitioner was found in possession of 2.210 kilograms of ganja.
4. The petitioner was arrested on 11.10.2025 and he has been in judicial custody since then.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted the petitioner is innocent of the allegations levelled against him.
7. The learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail plea of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner has criminal antecedents.
