ORDER
Dated this the 24th day of November, 2025 This Criminal Miscellaneous Case has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , 1973, seeking the following prayers:
i) Quash the proceedings in CC No.5/2020 of the Court of Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Kottayam arising from Annexure- 1 FIR No. VC.08/17/SCE dated 25.07.2017 and Annexure 2 Final Report No. 14/2019 dated 28.12.2019 filed before VACB, Special Cell, Ernakulam and all proceedings in furtherance of, and incidental to the same;
ii) issue such other direction or order as deemed fit.
2. This matter was heard earlier. Today, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the prosecution has failed to consider certain income of the petitioner, which should have been considered while assessing the income for the purpose of finding that the petitioner/accused amazed assets disproportionate to the known sources of income.
