JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
“i) to declare that the petitioner’s nomination is a valid nomination on the strength of Ext P4, that the rejection of his nomination is illegal and that his nomination is liable to be accepted;
ii) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding compelling the respondents
1 to 3 to accept the petitioner’s nomination as a valid one;
iii) Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate order or direction calling for the records leading to Ext.P6 and quash the same;
iv) dispense with the English translation of vernacular documents;
v) issue such other appropriate writ order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper to meet the ends of justice ”[SIC]
2. The petitioner is a voter in Kollengode Panchayat, his name being included in the voters list of ward No.5 (Aanamaari ward) of Kollengode Grama Panchayat and he intends to contest in the election to the Kollengode Block Panchayat is the submission.
