B.A No.14040 of 2025 --------------------------------------- Dated this the 28^th day of November, 2025 O R D E R This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023.

2. The petitioners are accused Nos.2 and 4 in Crime No.1486/2025 of Meppayur Police Station. The offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable under Sections 126 (2), 118(1), 110 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita ( BNS ).

3. The prosecution case, as narrated in Annexure 2 order, reads thus:

“On 31/10/2025 at 8.45 a.m, the accused Nos.1 to 8 in furtherance of their common intention, wrongfully restrained the defacto complainant at the Ayyanthole Law College Road, voluntarily caused hurt and tried to attack him with a knife. If the defacto complianant did not evade the assault of accused No.1 with a knife dangerous weapon, death have been caused to him.”[SIC]

4. The 1^st petitioner was arrested on 01.11.2025 and the 2^nd petitioner was arrested on 04.11.2025 and they have been in judicial custody since then.
