O R D E R

The Criminal Miscellaneous Case is filed to quash all further proceedings in C.C.No.410 of 2019 on the file of the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kottayam ('Trial Court', in short), which has arisen from Crime No.722 of

2011 registered by the Kottayam East Police Station.

2. Even though this Crl.M.C. was filed as early as on

22.01.2020, this Court has not admitted the Crl.M.C. and no interim order has been passed.

3. When the Crl.M.C. came up for consideration on

03.11.2025, this Court has called for a report from the Trial Court to ascertain the status and the reasonable time period that is required to dispose of C.C.No.410 of 2019.

4. In compliance with the above order, the Trial Court, by communication dated 10.11.2025, has informed this Court that the prosecution has cited 24 witnesses. Cws.1 to 11, 1 and 15 have been examined. The case stands posted to 17.11.2025 for the examination of CW12, 14 and 16. The Trial Court will dispose of the case within three months from the date of communication.
