Petitioner seeks leave to prefer an appeal against an order of acquittal under Section 256 (1) Cr.P.C. in a proceeding under Section

138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act , 1881.

2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Public Prosecutor, I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown to prefer an appeal.

Accordingly, leave to prefer an appeal against the impugned order is granted.
