ORDER
Dated this the 26th day of November, 2025 The petitioner is the 2nd accused in S.C No. 217 of 2015 on the file of Additional Sessions Court (Fast Track Court-I), Manjeri. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 21 and 23 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act (JJ Act), 2000 and Section 13 r/w 24 of the Orphanage & other Charitable Homes (Supervision & Control)
Act.
2. The prosecution case is that the 1st accused was found running an orphanage without obtaining the necessary permission from the Social Justice Department, and also that 2nd accused was running the orphanage without providing sufficient protection to the inamtes and that boys and girls were accommodated together.
3. The learned counsel has produced the order of this Court in Crl.M.C No. 6440 of 2016, in which this Court has already quashed the proceedings as against the 1st accused. According
