ORDER

Dated this the 26th day of November, 2025 The petitioners are the accused persons 1 to 10 in C.C.No.1316/2017 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Kodungallur, arising out of Crime No.2660/2016 of Kodungallur police station. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 143 , 147, 148, 452, 354, 324, 427, 294(b), 506(iii) r/w 149 IPC.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the matter has been settled between the petitioners and the defacto complainant and therefore he prayed for quashing all further proceedings against the petitioners.

3. The learned Public Prosecutor upon instructions submitted that, there are serious criminal antecedents against most of the accused persons. The allegations leveled against the petitioners are also appears to be serious in nature. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted to give a direction to the learned Magistrate to dispose of the case in a time bound manner and to permit the 1st petitioner to appear before the trial court online.
