Headnote:The petition seeks to quash the FIR in Crime No.1890 of 2021. The Public Prosecutor informs that the final report is already laid before the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate for C.C.No.1176 of 2022. The petition is dismissed, preserving the petitioner's right to challenge the final report or seek discharge if charges have not yet been framed.

O R D E R

The Crl.M.C. is filed to quash Annexure A1 FIR in Crime No.1890 of 2021 registered by the Pettah Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram.

The learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the Investigating Officer has already laid the final report before the Court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvananthapuram. The case has been numbered as C.C.No.1176 of 2022.

In light of the above submission, the Crl.M.C. is dismissed, but by reserving the right of the petitioner to either challenge the final report or file an application for discharge before the jurisdictional court, provided the charge has not been framed yet.
