JUDGMENT

Dated this the 26^th day of November, 2025 The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:

“(i) quash Exts.P12 and P14 to the extent it does not promote the petitioner as Assistant Engineer and to the extent it promotes the petitioner’s juniors by issuing a writ of certiorari;

(ii) issue a writ of mandamus any other other writ order or direction commanding the respondents 2 to 4 to recast Ext.P7 seniority list of Draftsman Grade-I, by including the petitioner in the seniority list and place petitioner between Sl.No.247 and 248 above respondents 5 to 11;

(iii) issue a writ of mandamus any other writ order or direction commanding the respondents 2 to 4 to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant Engineer prior to the date of promotion of the respondents 5 to 11 and to grant to all consequential service benefits including seniority and pay benefits;

(iv) declare that the petitioner is entitled to be promoted to the post of Assistant Engineer before promoting respondents 5 to 11;

(v) award cost to the petitioner;

(vi) to issue such other writs, orders or directions as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and appropriate in this case.”
