SREE LAKSHMI ELECTRICALS – Appellant
Versus
KERALA WATER AUTHORITY – Respondent

Advocates:
For the Appellants/Petitioners: SRI.BABU JOSEPH KURUVATHAZHA, SMT.ARCHANA K.S., SHRI.NOEL EALIAS

JUDGMENT

The petitioner is a contractor engaged in repairing and maintenance of electrical devises including pump and other machineries. The petitioner was awarded with the work as evidenced by Ext.P1 by the 1st respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner had completed the work and as of now he is entitled to get an amount of Rs.6,46,650/-, pertaining to the period from 01.02.2022 to 29.08.2024. Since the said amount has not been disbursed so far, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 representation before the 1st respondent and the limited relief sought by the petitioner is to direct the 1st respondent to take a decision on the same within a time limit.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents, I am inclined to dispose of this writ petition. Accordingly, it is ordered that, the 1st respondent shall take up Ext.P3 and appropriate decision thereon shall be taken within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
