JUDGMENT

The petitioner is a contractor engaged in repairing and maintenance of electrical devises including pump and other machineries. The petitioner was awarded with the work as evidenced by Ext.P1 by the 1^st respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner had completed the work and as of now he is entitled to get an amount of Rs.6,46,650/-, pertaining to the period from 01.02.2022 to 29.08.2024. Since the said amount has not been disbursed so far, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 representation before the 1^st respondent and the limited relief sought by the petitioner is to direct the 1^st respondent to take a decision on the same within a time limit.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents, I am inclined to dispose of this writ petition. Accordingly, it is ordered that, the 1^st respondent shall take up Ext.P3 and appropriate decision thereon shall be taken within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
