ORDER

Dated this the 10th day of December, 2025 The 1st respondent in M.C No. 19 of 2023, pending before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court -IV, Kozhikode, has filed this Tr.P(Crl.) seeking transfer of the said case to Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Chavakkad.

2. When the matter came up for arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, aged 87 years, is suffering from age old ailments and that he is only pressing for exempting him from personal appearance before the learned Magistrate. The said prayer was not opposed by the respondent.

In the above circumstances, the Tr.P(Crl.) is disposed of with a direction to the learned Magistrate to exempt the petitioner from personal appearance in the proceedings in MC No. 19 of 2023.
