O R D E R Dated this the 8th day of December, 2025 The 1st petitioner is the accused in LP No. 23/2025 on the file of the Court of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam (Trial Court) and the 2nd petitioner is the accused in S.C. No.1765/2024 on the file of the Additional Sessions Court-VI, Ernakulam, (Trial Court) which have originated from Crime No.2808 of 2023 registered by the Ernakulam Town North Police Station, alleging the commission of the offences punishable under Sections 308, 341, 323, 324 and 506 r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
2. The petitioners have invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023, to quash all further proceedings in the above case. It is asserted that the dispute that led to the registration of the crime has been amicably settled between the petitioners and the second respondent, who has executed Annexure-II affidavit, affirming the settlement.
