ORDER
This is a petition filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (B.N.S.S.), by the accused in Crime No.1193 of 2017 of Kunnicode Police Station, Kollam, which is pending as CC No.248/2019 of Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I,Punalur. The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Sections 294 (b), 324 &
506(i) of the Indian Penal Code .
2. The prosecution case is that, on 30.06.2017 at about 12.00 in the night, the accused abused the defacto complainant in filthy words, intimidated him, voluntarily caused hurt to him and poured hot water on his body and thereby he is alleged to have committed the aforesaid offences.
3. According to the petitioner, the dispute has been settled with the defacto complainant and victim/ respondent No.2 and he agreed to drop all further proceedings relating to the above dispute.
