ORDER
Dated this the 27th day of November, 2025 The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No. 17 of 2023 of Keezhvaipur, Police Station. The offences alleged against the petitioner are under Sections 376 (2) (n), 323 and 506 of the IPC .
2. The prosecution case, as revealed from the FIR is that on one day in March 2007, the accused captured photographs of the defacto complainant while she was taking bath. Thereafter, by blackmailing her using the photographs he repeatedly committed rape upon her after promising to marry her but he refused to marry her and thereby he is alleged to have committed the aforesaid offences.
3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, now the matter has been settled with the defacto complainant and therefore he prayed for quashing all further proceedings against the petitioner. The learned counsel for the defacto complainant/2nd respondent also submitted that the matter has been settled and further proceedings can be quashed.
