O R D E R
The applicant is a member of Rotary Club of Pathanamthitta. He was elected as the Secretary of the Club for the period 2024-25. Action was initiated against a member of the Club for failing to pay the dues and his membership was terminated. It is alleged by the applicant that at the instigation of the terminated member, a notice was issued to the applicant by the 4th respondent terminating his office as the Secretary. Another notice was issued initiating proceedings for terminating his membership. Thus disputes arose among the members of the Club. As per the constitution of the Club, such disputes are to be resolved by mediation or arbitration. Applicant issued Annexure A5 notice on 11.12.2024 for appointment of an Arbitrator. On receipt of Annexure A5, respondents 2 and 3 issued a letter dated 27.12.2024 appointing a Lawyer as Arbitrator. A copy of the letter dated 27.12.2024 is produced as Annexure A6.
