This bail application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’).

2. Petitioner is the 3^rd accused in Crime No.1566/2025 of Perumbavoor Police Station, Ernakulam; registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21(b) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 [for short, ‘NDPS Act’].

The prosecution case is that, on 10.08.2025, the accused Nos.1 and 2 were found in possession of 150.520 grams of heroin and based upon their confession, the petitioner was implicated as an accused and thereby committed the offences alleged. Petitioner was arrested on 10.08.2025 and he has been in custody since then.
