JUDGMENT

Petitioner in these cases is the landlord seeking expeditious disposal of the appeals filed by the tenants which are pending before the Rent Control Appellate Authority, Thrissur.

We note that appeals were preferred in the year 2017. In the light of the judgment of this Court in Irvin John Jayarajan and Others v. Madhavi Alias Narayani Amma and Others [2022 (7) KHC 1] , we direct the Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeals on or before 31.01.2026.
