Dated this the 7th day of January, 2026 This Criminal Revision Petition was filed by the appellants in Crl.Appeal No.252/2019 on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge- VII, Thiruvananthapuram, being aggrieved by the judgment dated 10.01.2022 dismissing the said appeal and confirming the judgment of conviction and sentence passed by the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-III, Neyyattinkara under Section 500 IPC .
2. The court below sentenced the revision petitioners to undergo simple imprisonment till rising of the court and to pay a compensation of Rs.10,000/- each to the complainant under Section 357 (3) Cr.P.C. and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for one month each.
3. According to the learned counsel for the revision petitioners, the revision petitioners have already deposited the compensation amount of Rs.10,000/- each before the learned Magistrate. His limited prayer is to avoid the imprisonment from the substantive sentence.
